My journey to photography started when I was a child, my father a skilled photographer would stand behind the lens and take photos whilst I modelled. As I grew older I watched him win awards for his photography and would eagerly sit beside him admiring his talent and imagining myself to be just like him when I grew up.
When I turned 9, my parents gifted me a small compact camera. I remember the moment I laid my hands on my first ever camera and just like my father, I began to see life from behind the lens. I soon became addicted to the feeling of expressing my creativity through photography and saw the world in a different way.
As a young boy I remember dressing my baby brother up, moving him into poses and taking photos just like my father had done with me as a child. Little did I know that this was just the beginning of a lifelong career.
I would jump at every photo opportunity that would allow me to craft my skill and feed my passion and the more compliments I received for my talent, the stronger my confidence grew.
As a child and even until this day, I believe there is something truly magical about being able to capture moments, preserving precious memories and isolating them from the passage of time.
Photographs are more than a piece of paper. They are a connection to our past and a gift to our future. They represent everything the mind may forget and what the heart will always remember.
With over 20 years international photography experience, I am proud to say that I have captured thousands of special moments. The glances of romance shared between a couple, a face beaming with happiness at a wedding, the look of confidence and power that comes with a portfolio shoot, or simply capturing the sheer innocence that comes from baby photography.
Taking photos is more than my job, it’s my lifestyle and I am so lucky to be able to do what I love, every day.
